My name is Monica Leclair and I am a mom, singer, motorcycle rider, accountant, who loves to bake! I learned a lot of recipes from my mom who made fancy cakes and all sorts of delicious things.

She started making these rum cakes when I was a child, giving them to her siblings (all 12 of them) and friends at Christmastime. Eventually she stopped making them and I took over the tradition but making them for my coworkers and friends. Everyone LOVED them and looked forward to them every year. I became “famous” for my rum cakes! So after a growing demand, I decided to start making these year round and the response has been amazing!
